  • Dedication: The following musical collection, that has delighted me since boyhood, is now, in my eighty-fifth year, respectfully inscribed to the sons and daughters of song. True, the terrible condition of society at present, in all parts of the globe, is enough to spread dismay in every country, still we must hope for better times while lending a hand for improvement.
