Two young men, Lincoln Eliot and Tom Poole, meet in China on board the steamer Swallow, which is headed for Swatow. Before long, the two are battling Chinese pirates who want to take control of the ship. Fortunately, fifteen-year-old Tom has just taken possession of some rifles. Will the boys be able to overcome their foes?
