Treacle, 'Kosker' , single work short story adventure
Travelling milliner on Thursday Island receives opium passed on by a Chinese shop-keeper as tinned chocolate, then sews it into rejected hats, but is caught when a boy opens a chocolate tin en route and complains of the sticky treacle to his Customs Officer father.
