  • This article is presented in the form of (presumably) fictitious discussions between a bookshop proprietor and his customers and staff. In the process he makes mention of, amongst others, Buchan's Castle Gay, Dekobra's The Madonna of the Sleeping Cars and Maugham's Gentleman in the Parlour.
