First appeared in Tegg's Monthly Magazine in April 1836, with the author's name indicated by the Greek letter Delta. Hand-written notes on the Mitchell Library copy of Tegg's Monthly Magazine attribute this work to 'Dr. Lang' [ie. John Dunmore Lang (q.v.)]. Note that Victor Crittenden (q.v.) has attributed this work to John Lang (q.v.).
