For many months past the Editor and sole proprietor of 'Pat's Penny Paper' has been trying to proclaim his views through the medium of the daily paper (there being only one of any consequence in Adelaide), but his efforts being invariably being made futile he forebore to trouble the 'Daily Suppress' any further and decided to own and issue a paper of his own, in which he might find the ineffable boon of self expression'.
