Notes

  • From Author's note: 'Gustav [Weindorfer] was an Austrian who built a guest house in what is now the Cradle Mountain National Park in Tasmania. He is therefore considered to be its spiritual founder. He was a keen Field Naturalist and botanist who greatly admired the Tasmanian alpine landscape and its fauna' (2nd ed., 3).
