  • English translation of the title: The son of bitch and a kitten
  • The two parts of the original title in Chinese can be translated as 'son of a bitch' [狗崽] and 'child of a cat' [猫崽]. During the Cultural Revolution the phrase 狗崽 referred to children of 'class enemies'.
