AbstractHistoryArchive Description

As an April fool spoof, pages 36-40 of this issue are headed with the title 'Mrsphaeton: A Little Jumble of Australian Verse' and numbered as vol. 1, no. 1, April 1920. The section contains parodies of the poems contained in the vol. 4, no. 40, March 1920 issue of Birth. Parody of the Editorial Notes are not reprinted due to their "obstetric nature" (p.36).
