AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A study of poetic creativity. To write a poem, it is argued, is to effect a tenuous resolution amid uncertainties that are incessantly available. The task of the creator is to find, amid conventions that are never indubitable, a source of persuasion, revealing expression that may itself fall to further creativity.

Notes

  • Contains both original poetry and exegesis.
  • PhD thesis submitted to the School of Communication and Creative Arts of the Faculty of Arts, Deakin University.
