AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Caravan is set alongside the beach at Mindel Markets, that buzz with live music, spinning fire twirlers and beautifully designed arts and crafts. Thirty-year-old Melbourne girl Sophie decides to leave her metropolitan lifestyle to join the throng of travelling hippies and artists working at the markets, and takes a job as a magician's assistant. Her Eastern European magician shares with her the secrets of magic and transformation and she wonders if she could ever truly disappear, or if it's just a clever performance.
