AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Bennie talks with Julian Meyrick about the need he perceives for generational change in Australian theatre. Meyrick argues that 'each generation should be incorporated into the whole of Australian theatre. They should unite, rather than be stranded in separated camps. [...] What has happened, however, is that the New Wave generation has blocked or failed to nurture or facilitate the next wave.'
