A self-centered professional sprinter does not want the bookies or the police to know he is betting on himself so he gives all his and his friends' money to his wife to put the bets on. Later, when he sees a bag snatcher chased by police, the sprinter considers catching the thief but decides not to risk getting hurt. Consequently, the thief escapes with all his and his friends' money.
