'Another Dead Rock Star' is the story of two good mates and one ex-girlfriend. In this black comedy, Neil is searching for a way in, Sebastian is searching for a way out and Lisa is struggling to cope with the death of Michael Hutchence.

First produced by Matchstix Productions with Metro Arts Independents at the Metro Arts Theatre, Brisbane, 8 - 26 June 2004. Two Short Matches is part of the Independents Program, which is intended to service Independent (Profit-Share) theatre groups by providing subsidised facilities, basic levels of resources/equipment, generous levels of promotional support and access to the skills and experience of the Metro Arts staff team.
