AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The 2004 Books Alive campaign features six books by Australian authors to sell at five dollars each. The books are White Gardenia by Belinda Alexandra; Selby the Wonder Dog by Duncan Ball; The Shark Net by Robert Drewe, Shiver by Nikki Gemmell; Au Revoir by Mary Moody and Blacktown by Shane Weaver. The plan was for the six authors to embark on an Australia wide tour. However, Shane Weaver died in June 2004 and Belinda Alexandra has withdrawn because of her mother's sudden death.
