AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'It is 1968. In the United States, Martin Luther King has just been assassinated.

'In Sydney, Australia, university lecturer and women's liberationist Charmaine Shaw is making enemies. Student and admirer Sue English is not amongst them. As she listens to Charmaine her perspective on life begins to change. When Charmaine is killed, Sue faces the problem of who has killed her and why. The problem is there is no shortage of suspects and it is hard to know who to trust. Even fellow student Rod, first bloke she kissed, doesn't seem exempt from suspicion.

'Sue can't help playing detective, despite discouragement by the remarkable attractive police inspector, Gerry Ross, who definitely doesn't want her to become the second body in the case...'
