AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'The Duck Shooter is more than just an exploration of working class men as they attempt to navigate themselves through the unfamiliar and uncomfortable territory of grief. It is a mythic and violent struggle over a father's legacy and what it means to be a man in contemporary Australia.' http://www.statetheatre.sa.com.au (Sighted 15/07/04)

Notes

Production Details

  • World premiere by Brink Productions and the State Theatre Company of South Australia at The Space, Adelaide Festival Centre, 3 - 17 July, 2004. Director: Michael Hill.
