Production Details

  • First produced at the Old Bailey, in London by the City of London Festival in 2001. Subsequently at the Old Magistrate's Court, Melbourne, on the 2, 5 and 6 December 2003. Researched, written and directed by Elizabeth Anderson. The work includes excerpts from Grant's diaries, interspersed with short harpsichord pieces from Grant's music library and a piece for harpsichord, didjeridu and Australian bush sounds, This Beauteous Wicked Place, by Australian composer Ron Nagorcka.
