AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Don Joaquin promenades restlessly each evening, broken-hearted at the loss of Senorita Luisa. He makes friends with the Englishman Simpson, and builds a house to distract himself. But his fate awaits him in the house across the street. Amusing phonetic rendition of English in a Spanish accent. (PB)
