A very young boy is kidnapped by Aborigines in Sydney in the 1840s some months after an Aboriginal child is accidentally killed in a boating accident on the Harbour. The boy is recovered nearly four years later from a tribe on the Maneroo (Monaro) Plain. [Account of the kidnapping of Charles Murray, nephew of the settler William Murray.
