AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Set in Dinglewood again, the English village is this time the scene of revelations of Lady Denzil's past - of the child she had to abandon as an infant in order to marry Sir Thomas, and a reunion with her granddaughter. Moving and well-paced despite its English social concerns and near-melodramatic sentimentality. (PB)
