An Englishwoman's recollections of her meetings as a child with a Spanish Infanta and her dubious American husband at a mineral springs health spa in Portugal. Years later she meets the Infanta again - now a poverty-stricken widow in Spain after the death of her husband in a French prison. Her selflessness and beautiful nature still shine.
