'Beautiful young Elizabeth Lagrange could almost feel the fiery heat as she gazed at the burned-out North Wing of majestic Corsair Keep, the home she had unexpectedly inherited from a mother she couldn't remember. For Elizabeth had been left on an orphanage doorstep at the age of three, and until the day Sir Raymond Hartshill came into her life her only memory of the past was of the terrible fire that had nearly claimed her life.
