AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The narrator is assigned to look after the rations and seven flocks of sheep thirty miles from the station house, but is played tricks on by his aboriginal guide, chases an emu and gets lost before a shepherd sets him on the right path. Patchy but has a certain rough interest. (PB)
