AbstractHistoryArchive Description

' The original pig with human genes and the ability to speak, Francis Bacon, now has several clever descendants and Francis' son Roger has to find a home for everyone and somehow pay for it. The solution seems to be for Roger and his human friend Lucy Russo to go on stage with their (fake) ventriloquist act. They are such a hit they are signed up for television but all the attention threatens the safety of the others. Meanwhile, on the isolated farm Roger has found, a friendly hermit ... is in danger from robbers. Adventure and humour in novels that will extend mid primary readers.'
