AbstractHistoryArchive Description

In 1868 a commercial traveller spends a night at Raspberry Point on the road to Jamieson near Beechworth Victoria. He attends a lecture by the local C. of E. minister which is enlivened by the progressive intoxication of the chairman, and the rowdiness of the audience. Competently but not outstandingly written.
