AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A French business man returns to Vietnam with his Australian wife and daughter to pursue a business opportunity for an international mining company. He is thwarted in his efforts to clear a rainforest by a female Buddhist monk who had saved his life during the Indochinese war.

Production Details

  • World premiere produced at the CUB Malthouse Merlyn Theatre as part of the Melbourne Festival from 31 October - 2 November 2002. Performed in English, French and Vietnamese, with surtitles.
