Philip Granger is left an inheritance by his uncle which separates him for a time from Isabel Irving who believes he took it as the cost of the natural heirs. The misunderstanding is eventually cleared up, the natural heirs shown to be well provdided for, and romance blossoms. Slight; probably US. (PB)
