AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'This is a romantic tale combined with family conflicts in a world that could be here right now. The life of a simple adolescent changes forever when he encounters love and life from a distant world. We follow Richard Davidson through his self-exploration, finding love amongst his alien abductors and bitter rebuttal from his own cousin. Davrew is kind, loving and totally committed to the family they raise together on the outskirts of small country Australian town. Together Richard and Davrew renovate a grand old homestead and re-build an orchard to its former glory. They drift apart temporarily only to be re-united by a friend's tragedy. The Davidson's family's ability to make the unconventional seem normal is put to the test when Rakal arrives. He is an antagonistic space pirate who unwittingly crashes his spacecraft near their home. He changes their lives forever. Ten years after Rakal's first brief visit, he returns to threaten the Davidson family, in their secure anonymous lives. He stages a worldwide show and draws the family into the spotlight. Succumbing to the attention Richard and Davrew introduce themselves and their family to the world.' - from publisher website
