AbstractHistoryArchive Description

An English hunt ball in the 1860s introduces Florrie Danley to a handsome young officer who six months later is in love with another. He goes to India but 18 years later returns to find Florrie still happy and content and his earlier lover unhappily but richly married. Hope revives. Light romance. (PB)
