AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A widowed aunt tells her nieces and one of their friends the tale of her youthful romance - and their mother's. Orphaned in England, after travelling on the continent she came to Victoria to join her uncle and his family. She discovers a long lost male cousin, Dick, is engaged to her other cousin (her uncle's daughter) but wants his identity kept secret ... Lover's misunderstandings follow as prying gossips cause trouble until all is pleasantly resolved. Light; patchy in parts. (PB)
