AbstractHistoryArchive Description

This musical interspered with film clips and stills from archival sources is about pioneering women who contributed important work in the development of the Australian film industry, particularly the silent screen - women such as Annette Kellerman, Lottie Lyell, Vera James and the McDonagh Sisters.

Production Details

  • First performed by Women on a Shoestring at the Street Theatre Studio, 3 - 19 May 2001. Directors - Camilla Blunden and Catherine Mann.
