'Deep in the bush, where the trees grow tall, Finn discovers an old deserted shack. Inside is shivery cold, with green fungus on the walls. When a dog growls and a gravelly voice snarls, Finn's hair stands up like bristles on a brush. An old man and his dog are glowing in the darkness.

'Jack Henry and Nipper lived here 100 years ago. When he's with Jack, Finn can sense what the birds and beasties are feeling, and he likes being in the ghost's world. But Jack Henry's past comes back to haunt him when someone starts bulldozing the trees. The wild animals will be homeless, but how can a ghost and a boy save the bush?
