A family man installs a burglar alarm shortly before a business trip to Sydney ... and forgets its existence when he returns unexpectedly. Slight. (PB).
Set in Australia and England, the tragedy of Marion Grey who loses the man she loves to her sister, and despite her studies and writing dies of a broken heart. Well-written though predictable. (PB).

Actually two Christmas parties ten years apart which see the quarrel of twin brothers over a girl, and the family reconciliation and romance. Set in Windsor, Melbourne. Passions subdued and faithful love rewarded again. Competent if a little moralistic. (PB).
