    The radio play was broadcast in the UK on 10 August 1970 (BBC Radio 4), at which point, the following cast list was given:

    June Salter (Olive), Nigel Lovell (Roo), Margaret Christenson (Pearl), Neva Carr Glyn (Emma), Lola Brooks (Bubba), James Condon (Barney), and Mark Kelly (Dowd) (see Radio Times, 6 August 1970, p.25).
