AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The poems in this collection form a loose sequence. They begin with the creation of the earth and its early inhabitants and then focus on the coming of Aboriginal and white populations to Tasmania. Particular attention is given to the life and death of Truganini (q.v.) and to Bruny Island.
