Notes

  • Author note: This poem is dedicated to the three men who lost their lives in a nuclear reactor accident in the United States, at Idaho Fall in the early 1960s. The men's heads and hands were so severely irradiated that they had to be severed from the bodies and buried separately in a dump for nuclear waste.
