  • Marcie Muir's Australian Children's Books : a bibliography : volume one 1774-1972 (1992) comments: 'Contains 6 stories & the preface which is in the form of a letter explaining that the booklet was produced as a Christmas letter & was ''a little belated because the first lot printed were mislaid, and they had to be done again." This apparently is the reason for the "second edition". Appears to have been the first children's book publ. in WA.'
