AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Briefly the story is this. Lieutenants Kerwick and O'Flynn are commissioned to co-operate with the H.M.S. Viking in an endeavour to put a stop to the operations of a gang that is gaining control of the pearl shell fisheries utilising the scheme adopted by the Japanese to side-step the White Australian policy. The account of their adventures, the murder of Ned Williams, the love of Joan and the tragedy of Lotus Lian, holds one to the very end.'
