'A space capsule crashes on a planet at the edge of the galaxy. Only three people survive, the "High Lady Clytha", her maid-servant and a crew member. Clytha is totally spoilt, being highly valued for her combination of thinness and sexuality! The main interest is how the trio interact and survive in the alien environment. Most readers would be quite happy to see Clytha's demise as quickly as possible but unfortunately she survives to be rescued after 200 pages of a rather meaningless novel.'
