  • 'James Crauford Leslie, then 27, founded the Corowa paper after working briefly at the defunct Wahgunyah Chronicle.

    J. C. Leslie was followed by his sons Arnot and Guy, then Guy's son, Conrad, and finally by Conrad's wife, Dixie Leslie, who was owner at the centenary celebrations.'
