'My Natives and I was first published in January, 1936 in The Advertiser [Adelaide] with syndication Australia-wide. The Passing of the Aborigines was first published by John Murray, London, 1938.'--t.p. verso. 'In this edition of My Natives and I, the series [as] published in The Western Mail [Perth] in early 1936 has been used as the master [text] ... the text of The Passing of the Aborigines was scanned and then integrated with My Natives and I to produce a composite text based on the first of the two.'
