AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The play is based on the actual disappearance of a naval patrol vessel in World War II. Rather than focusing on the explosion itself, the play uses the backdrop of wartime tensions and violent behaviour to explore human nature, sexuality, authority, religion, acts of violence and distorted love.
