Notes

  • Contains teacher's notes on methods of producing the plays and techniques for using the microphone (vii-x).
  • Author's note: All these scripts have been broadcast to schools by the Australian Broadcasting Commission. I am grateful to the Youth Education Department of the A.B.C., and especially the Tasmanian Branch for its friendly co-operation over a period of ten years and for permission to reprint these selected programmes.
  • Five of the plays are Sansom's adaptations of incidents from novels and a poem and Greek legend.
