Notes

  • DRAMA BIB Notes: No production details available. Note at beginning of play reads: "This comedy was originally written by me in Ballarat, when a mere boy, then residing with my late father, the editor of 'The Ballarat Courier', founder, and part proprietor of that journal. It was subsequently published and copyrighted in Melbourne, Australia, in 1896, under the rather severe title of 'The Prodigal's Folly' [q.v.]. I have now rewritten it entirely for the purpose of including it in this collection of my works to date."
