AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Listeners have been taken on many dangerous journeys and into some hair-raising enterprises. They've shared in scores of miraculous last-minute escapes with the intrepid trio.

'Many times it has seemed that Fraser has made his last journey on an important mission, but some- how he and his companions always make a get-away against over- whelming odds.

It is generally accepted in the entertainment world to-day that people prefer something which will take their thoughts from the war.

'Yet "First Light Fraser," so essentially a war saga, has proved tremendously popular with many thousands of listeners.'

The Australian Women's Weekly, 17 July 1943
