A Jeffrey Blackburn adventure.
Note on confusion with other works:
A serial by this name also ran (at least on Brisbane radio station, and possibly on others) from the mid-1930s, but this does not appear to have been written by Afford (who was then writing for 5CL in Adelaide, prior to his move to Sydney). This appears to have been a long-running serial, but nothing else is currently known of it.
The first mention of a Danger Unlimited in direct relation to Max Afford is in 1944 ('Passing By', News, 15 December 1944, p.2), at which point he is said to be at work on the serial.
The first traced broadcast for this serial is in July 1945 ('Danger Unlimited', Maryborough Chronicle, Wide Bay and Burnett Advertiser, 2 July 1945, p.2). No end-date has so far been identified, but if this serial is in keeping with Afford's other Jeffrey Blackburn serials, it is unlikely to have run for the 600 episodes some sources suggest.
First broadcast from July 1945 (on the mainland; broadcast in Tasmania in March 1946).
Cast members: Nigell Lovell and Lyndall Barbour.
