A burlesque extravaganza adapted and localised from H. J. Byron's extravaganza The Nymph of the Lurleyburg, Or, The Knight and the Naiads (1859), which is itself based on the legend of Lurline ('Lorelei'), the siren of the Rhine.
Production Details

1860: Theatre Royal, Melbourne, 5 April (benefit).
- Proprietor G. V. Brooke.
- Cast incl. Mr Milne, Fanny Young, Mr Jackson, Julia Matthews.
- The benefit was staged in response to insolvency, brought about through the recent court case of Akhurst v Brooke in the County Court. The production was revived at the Theatre Royal, Melbourne, on 2 August 1860.
