AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Terry Ho, who lives with his mother, is planning to ‘nick off’ to Sydney with some of his mates. He plans to find his long lost father. On his way to the meeting place to join his mates Terry runs into another boy of a similar age, David Conway who follows Terry. Terry tries to shake him off but, in running through the rubbish tip, discovers an abandoned baby. When David catches up with Terry he insists that they take it to the police station. As Terry attempts to give David and the baby the slip Terry’s eyes are opened to the true nature of his so-called ‘mates’.
