'A pod of southern right whales appears in Dolphin Bay, right near Wendy's farm and she and one of the female whales, Misty, become soul mates. The arrival of whale-watching tourists, with boats and helicopters threatens the whales, and Wendy and her friends learn a lot about the history of whaling and present-day illegal slaughter.'
